Shelly and Nathan, August 5th 2011

Love. That is what this next set of photos is all about. Love and playfulness wrapped up into one sweet couple that is Shelly and Nathan. You may recognize these two from their adorable engagement session that we did in and around the Pearl District last fall. We had such a great time that chilly day in November and I knew that their wedding day was going to truly special. A little background: Nathan and Shelly met while doing Karaoke. They were both out one night with friends, noticed one another, talked, laughed, and exchanged numbers. The rest, they say, is history. For their wedding day, they wanted their friends and family to kick back, have some fun, and experience something that they love to do together: Karaoke. I have never seen Karaoke at a wedding and it was so much fun to photograph! Of course, that was just one aspect of their lovely wedding day in the Abernethy Center’s Veiled Garden and Ballroom.     Thank you for these beautiful photos. We are so sorry we were not able to make it. Everyone looks like they were having a wonderful time. The bride is absolutely gorgeous, and the groom, quite the handsome guy. Our sweet Lea is ravishing as usual. Both families have the look of happiness, and that’s what made the day extra special.

    We send lots of extra xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox’s….never too many, right?

    Sorry to write only tokay, but we have corresponded with your mother….
    When I see thèse extra beautiful pictures, I remember thèse moments we had with you , little girl, in the swimming pool in Houston…
    You were a very délicate and spécial little girl, you have become a gorgeous woman !
    I also think of your father, who would have loved to marry you and see you so happy ……

    I am sûre that he missed you a lot !
