Helen and John’s Portland Engagement Session

Helen and John live in Seattle but are getting married in the Mt. Hood area this July. Throughout their wedding planning process they’ve had a chance to spend some time in Portland and, when picking an engagement session location, they opted to have their photos taken in the Rose City. As we all know, springtime in Portland brings flowers and warmer temperatures, but it often means unpredictable weather. However, that was no problem for these two Seattleites who are accustomed to the wet springtime weather of the Pacific Northwest. Helen and John embraced the rain and thunder that accompanied their engagement session with smiles and laughs. In the end, this beautiful couple was rewarded with a gorgeous rainbow and some of the most romantic rain photos we’ve ever taken. Helen and John, thank you for bringing your spirit of adventure to your engagement session. We’re looking forward to photographing your wedding this summer!
