Katie and Cory’s wedding was one of the first that we booked for 2009, so Lincoln and I have been looking for to photographing their big day for quite a while now. The happy couple was married on Saturday, June 20th 2009 at St. Patrick’s Church in NW Portland and was followed by a rocking reception at the Portland Art Museum. Katie, Cory, their family, wedding party and their out-of-town guests all stayed at the stylish new Nines hotel in downtown Portland. They were transported by the Oregon City Trolley to the church and the reception. It was a super fun, action-packed day that gave their guests a glimpse of some of Portland’s finest landmarks. Katie and Cory couldn’t be a more lovely and gracious couple, and their friends and family are just as kind as they they are. Katie and Cory, it was a pleasure to document your wedding day. Thank you for making us feel like family:) We hope that you two are having an amazing honeymoon!

Is it time for my close up? 🙂
These three lovely ladies are sisters. As an only child, this photo really makes me wish I had siblings!
This was Katie and Cory’s get-away car, owned by Cory’s best man’s dad. I was told that the car is famous and has appeared in a movie or two!
At one point, Katie and Cory’s ceremony was interactive:) The priest recounted how Katie and Cory met…apparently, there are a few versions of the story out there.
No smile compares to the post ‘I do’ smile . Priceless.
This photo is especially for you, Mr. Moreland! 🙂
I’ll admit it – I waited all night for a photo opportunity with one of the sculptures to present itself. Finally, 20 minutes before we left, it happened:)
